At Down Lodge we want our residents to enjoy their time as they wish, so they have complete freedom to spend their days exactly how they choose. If they want to work on a personal hobby then we'll encourage them with that, and if they want to join in one of our many activities then we make sure they have plenty of options to choose from, whether that's taking a stroll around the gardens, catching up with a book, or joining in with a quiz. 

Mealtimes are a great way to mix with other residents, and you have the choice of eating in the delightful dining room or outside in the garden on warmer days. Our talented chef is always on-hand to discuss meal ideas or preferences, and we always offer a wide range of tasty and nutritious dishes on our daily menu.

All 14 rooms at Down Lodge are decorated and furnished to a very high standard and include ensuite bathroom facilities, a remote-controlled TV and telephone point to help our residents keep in contact with their friends and family. 5 minutes walk to the town centre means that residents have plenty of choice to enjoy during a day out.
