Down Lodge has operated as a residential care home since 1968.
Down Lodge, "GOOD" care home, is a sixteen capacity care home only 200 yards from Wokingham Town centre, ideally situated for residents with care needs to have easy access to local amenities, while being able to contact skilled carers at all hours of the day and night.This comfortable residence has been organised with a satisfying retirement in mind, while the service strives to be as versatile as possible to healthcare needs, having close contacts with GPs, District Nurses and visiting chiropodists and opticians.
All service users can choose from a menu of traditional meals and enjoy relaxing in a south-facing conservatory garden during the warmer weather.

Being registered for 16 Residents adds to our homely atmosphere where Residents are part of our “family” and are cared for by fully vetted trained staff 24hrs a day in comfortable homely surroundings. Our attentive staff are selected for their caring friendly and courteous qualities as well as their experience and dedication.
Our Residents have access to a south facing garden via our large conservatory, along with a separate dining room and lounge. We also have the services of a local General Practitioner, Chiropodist, Hairdresser, and Dentist, along with our other facilities.
